About Duke Health Integrated Practice

We are seeking a Physician Recruiter to join our Duke Medical Staff Recruitment team. Duke Health Integrated Practice (DHIP) is one of the largest academic multi-specialty group practices in the United States comprised of 140 clinical practices and nearly 5,000 providers and staff members. This position will screen, interview, and source providers to support the mission of DHIP. The Physician Recruiter will work in partnership with the department leaders within Duke School of Medicine to support their staffing needs. The successful candidate will be able to articulate and apply recruitment strategies to fill complex clinical positions. This position does require on-site travel to Duke Health Hospitals and clinics along with periodic travel to career fairs and/or conferences. Work may require occasional evenings & weekends.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with department leaders regarding their provider recruitment needs; determine recruitment timeline.
Participate in the development and execution of DHIP recruitment strategies and work plans to achieve planned growth.
Possesses a clear understanding of assigned specialty areas and is able to articulate clinical expectations to prospective candidates.
Manage all recruitment activities and processes for assigned specialties within DHIP; specifically related to sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
Oversee the coordination of itineraries and travel accommodations for prospective candidates inclusive of flights and hotel.
Ensure all providers are tracked and entered into applicant tracking databases and position management systems correctly.
As part of the full cycle recruitment process serve as a liaison to both the contracting and onboarding teams within DHIP.
Assist in the tracking and development of recruitment-related metrics and reports when needed.
Maintain working liaison relationships with department leaders to render recommendations to resolve staffing challenges.
Serve as an information source regarding provider recruitment trends within assigned specialty areas locally and nationally
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Human Resources, Marketing, or Business Administration required.
Work requires four years of related recruitment experience in a healthcare setting.
One to two years experience in physician recruitment experience for hospitals or physician practices preferred.
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
