Summary:
The HR Analytics Specialist position proactively partners with key stakeholders to generate actionable insights using HR data. They leverage a variety of business intelligence tools to create dashboards, executive scorecards, and ad-hoc analyses. The HR Analytics role empowers all leaders and HR stakeholders to make data-driven people strategy decisions quickly, easily and with confidence.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a consultant to enable HR leaders and key stakeholders solve problems and make data driven decisions.
2. Proactively partner with key stakeholders to generate actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
3. Translate business needs and opportunities into clear, actionable insights across dashboards and develop solutions to fit them.
4. Design, build and maintain custom dashboards which can be easily understood and used for strategic decision making.
5. Create effective, efficient, and reliable database queries to analyze large volumes of data.
6. Partner closely with HR areas to help the business answer questions and inform people strategy.
7. Independently make recommendations on ways to implement and improve new and existing processes.
Other information:
Technical Expertise
1. Previous HR or People Analytics experience required.
2. Experience with data visualization and dashboard development tools
3. Experience with relational databases, understanding of data query preferred.
4. Experience with HRIS systems required.
5. Understanding of spreadsheet formulas and refencing required
6. Effective communication skills, with the ability to present information in spoken, written or visual form to a variety of audiences, from internal teams to senior leadership.
7. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] is required.
Education and Experience
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Healthcare or related field.
2. Years of relevant experience: 3 years is required.
