Join the values-based, collaborative group of physicians and advanced practice providers at the IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians Women's Health practice. We are seeking a board certified/eligible Obstetrician Gynecologist or OB Laborist to join our compassionate team in the picturesque town of Bloomington, Indiana. This opportunity allows our patients access to improved health care at the new IU Health Bloomington Hospital (named as a high-performing hospital for maternity care by U.S. News & World Report) along with satellite locations in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Work/life balance valued with excellent schedule
Full-scope OB/GYN care, including but not limited to Deliveries (vaginal & cesarean) and Gyn surgery (option of DaVinci platform)
OB Laborist: 24 hour shifts preferred, manage OBED, unassigned patients, and backup for practice group including deliveries (vaginal & cesarean), supervision of APP and CNM, other emergency procedures, as needed

Qualifications:
Completion of ABMS OB/GYN residency
Board Eligible/Board Certified OB/GYN
New graduates or experienced physicians encouraged to apply
Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure
Visa sponsorship is available: H1B or J1 (J1: 2025 candidates-deadline has passed for IU Health visa applications for 2024)

IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center is a not-for-profit organization and has a patient base of 413,000 in 10 counties (Brown, Daviess, Greene, Jackson, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Morgan, Orange, and Owen).
