Job SummaryThe Vice Dean for Health Equity and Inclusion for Geisinger's medical school leads the school's efforts promoting health equity and inclusion, while advancing a diverse learning environment that is optimal for students, faculty and staff. The Vice Dean reports directly to the Dean and in a “dotted-line” relationship with the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer for the Geisinger system, who will also oversee the work in a partnership relationship. This relationship is key to ensuring alignment of DEI initiatives throughout the system. The Vice Dean is a core member of the Dean's cabinet to contribute to the leadership of the school and its strategic initiatives.
