The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) cascades strategic work that supports the organization strategies. This role provides leadership and employee support for continuous improvement in all areas of the employment experience.Direct responsibility and accountability over employee relations, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent and legally defensible actions. Collaborates with HR Division on areas including but not limited to compensation, benefits, wellness, talent development and D&I.
With support from the HR Generalist, serves as the primary HR contact for leadership and employees in their assigned areas to address all people related needs.
Through consultation with HR subject matter experts, serves as a partner to assigned customers in area such as HR/organizational philosophy and challenges, employee development and succession planning, full cycle talent management and understanding and provides assistance related to operational HR issues within assigned customer base and HR Business Partner support.
Provides education of and ensures policies are consistently applied and provides guidance to leaders and employees on the interpretation and implementation of HR policies and Federal, State, and Local rules, and regulations.
Tracks, trends, develops, recommends and implements initiatives to improve outcomes in areas such as retention, talent development, onboarding, employee engagement and operational people management issues within departments.
Follows defined structures for employee engagement and talent development and provides input to the same.
Utilizes HR Strategic Plan to focus on priorities and engage in collaborative relationships to achieve outcomes.
Utilizes data and benchmarking to identify and understand workforce challenges, workplace issues, and trends to provide recommendations for organization improvements and outcomes.
Identifies and brings forward opportunities for continuous improvement and engages on such improvements with appropriate parties.
Researches and keeps up to date on HR practice and trends in the industry. Brings forward trends and opportunities to consider for workforce.

Experience as an HR Generalist within a medium to large company is required.
Experience and understanding of applicable State and Federal employment laws is required.
Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
Experience in several HR core functions such as employee relations, talent development, recruitment, total rewards, compliance, etc. is required.
Experience in HR Management or as an HR Business Partner is preferred.
Experience in project management is preferred.
Experience in healthcare is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software and HRIS systems is required.
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required.
Certification: HR Certification [PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, CCP, etc.] is preferred.
Years of relevant experience: 5 years is preferred.
Years of experience supervising: None.
