Position Summary: The Human Potential (HP) Partner is a business partner to their assigned areas and leaders, providing broad-based professional human resources expertise. The HP Partner is responsible for the implementation and administration of the HP policies and procedures, and for managing all activities relating to daily employee issues. Serves as the primary point of contact and provides a high level of customer satisfaction through timely follow-through, flexibility and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing HP issues and concerns. Works to develop and transfer related skills and provide guidance to leaders related to performance management. The HP Partner works in a highly independent fashion, providing interpretive guidance as needed. Work situations are varied and require a skilled communicator able to engage at all levels, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, combined with an ability to deliver a customer service oriented and educational perspective. Must have the ability to critically think through ambiguous situations, and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop appropriate solutions. The position requires extensive internal contacts with all levels throughout the health system, often involving confidential and complex issues. External contacts include attorneys, consultants, and outside agencies. The HP Partner coordinates the delivery of effective and efficient HP services through their assigned areas and others as needed.
Minimum Requirements: Experience in interpretation of personnel policy and managing a wide range of employee issues. Continued pattern of learning and growth in career.
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Associates Degree in related field and two years professional-level experience in human resources. Bachelors degree preferred. Recognized human resources professional certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, etc.)
