The role you’ll contribute:
The HR Operations Specialist is to serve as a collaborator with Center of Expertise (CoE), HR Shared Services (HRSS), Business HR and other key stakeholders to help fully enable and strengthen the HR operating model. This position supports Strategic Planning and Operations and manages Business HR development strategies. These activities include learning business operations and structures, partnering on deploying initiatives, maintaining data organization, providing analysis, identifying and resolving issues and risks. Serves as a champion for the model and responsible for building and maintaining strong lines of communication between stakeholders.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
•Provides support in strengthening the Associate HRBP and HRBP role, business model, development, leadership pipeline and network; organizing and analyzing information about Business HR team members; coordinates activities for HR leadership to include orientation and onboarding, competency assessments and development plans, talent reviews and succession management, collaborating with CoE team for support in appropriate areas
•Develops key HR documents and collaterals including presentations, HRBP orientation and onboarding documents, org charts, templates, strategic briefs to ensure they are in line with HR standards and revised as information changes
•Manages relationships with external vendors to support the growth and development of Business HR; identifying opportunities to align membership offerings and products with key HR initiatives and competency needs
•Leads and develops training materials and/or programs to support competency development for Associate HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders to ensure operating model alignment
•Partners with Leadership Institute & Manager of System HR Operations to coordinate HR Resident rotations and HR Interns as applicable; assigning development activities in alignment with key Business HR competencies such as business acumen, data judgment, talent management acumen, and more
•Supports the coordination of HR events to include; leadership retreats, town halls, and HR Summit.
•Executes internal operational HR communication strategies for a variety of initiatives to engage and inform team members, and drive alignment across all three components of the HR operating model; communication activities to include content development, visual design, execution of toolkits, emails, newsletters, articles, template creation, etc.
•Provides operational support utilizing excellent customer service skills. Specific duties may include, but not limited to: managing distribution lists, preparing agendas, and taking minutes, and partnering with Administrative Assistants to ensure appropriate governance structures and cadenced touchpoints.
•Champions project governance and manages associated processes, needs, and requirements •Carries out tasks as assigned by Director; shows flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity and varying priorities
•Recommends actions and exercise discretion regarding key business processes; Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on projects/tasks to completion
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field
2+ years of related experience in one or more of the areas of human resources, communications, project management, organizational development, training, or organizational change management
PHR, SHRM-CP, sHRBP or equivalent certification relations to human resources – Preferred
