Talent Acquisition DEI Consultant will make an impact by partnering to win across the organization and externally, to work towards a workforce that aligns with CCHMC's existing strategic DEI initiatives and reflects all dimensions of diversity. An ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in talent acquisition and recruitment marketing, preferably in healthcare, and be able to articulate their expertise with specific DEI strategies and data-driven results. A day in the life:
Strategic DEI Talent Acquisition Planning
- Lead the development and implementation of a DEI Talent Acquisition plan.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the enterprise to identify continuous strategic opportunities to attract and source qualified candidates for all dimensions of diversity.
- Stay abreast of business & operational needs.
- Represent CCHMC and Talent Acquisition in various community, state and regional activities designed to promote diversity, inclusion, and cultural competency.
Diversity Equity & Inclusion Implementation
- Provide best practices and recommendations for supporting diversity, equity and inclusion business strategies and alignment to talent acquisition goals as it relates to deliverables.
- Provide leadership and guidance to operationalize the strategies that are developed for enterprise-wide scope and impact.
- Deliver a diverse and qualified prospect pool that reflects the communities we serve.
- Attract, engage, and nurture talent leveraging candidate engagement resources and strategies.
- Supports CCHMC's inclusive recruiting goals end to end.
- Leads candidate attraction and sourcing strategies including social media campaigns, email campaigns, recruiting events, recruiting programs, referrals, etc.
- Provides excellent candidate experiences.
- Screens candidates and makes recommendations for consideration.
- Excellent judgment and ability to set priorities, make decisions, and move programs forward in a complex and dynamic environment
DEI Consultation
- Co-lead strategy sessions with recruiters and hiring managers to develop and execute DEI sourcing strategy for designated roles.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver effective communication to managers, colleagues, and employees.
- Provide talent market trends and insights to key stakeholders as needed.
- Provide deep subject matter expertise and DEI counsel.
- Build awareness, understanding and knowledge of DEI concepts and the application of best practices through education, business consultation, strategic partnerships and coalitions, diverse talent pipelines and leadership development
Measurement and Analysis
- Establish benchmarks and metrics for ongoing measurement; Utilize metrics and analyze data to help identify trends, and gaps to inform strategy; develop and report out on metrics to measure progress and to evaluate DEI strategy as it relates to Talent Acquisition.
- Develop recommendations for program improvements based on trends identified in the evaluation process.
- Lead the generation of ideas and approaches to improve the effectiveness of existing programs and create new programs.
- Maintains data integrity of outreach efforts, event tracking, and candidate profiles in CRM.
Policies and Governance
- Development of policies and procedures supporting attraction, retention, and promotion of a diverse and inclusive workforce for the organization.
- Ensure leadership alignment on policy changes and deliver clear communication to HR staff, managers, and employees.
QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCERequired: - Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline
Preferred: - Master's Degree.
- Experience with Community Engagement.
- Experience in Career Coaching or Counseling.
- Experience in sourcing and qualifying candidates with highly specialized skills.
- Experience with the creation and execution of talent sourcing and attraction strategy.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and candidate relationship management technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions and stakeholders.
- Recruiting experience with diverse professional associations and organizations.
