Job Summary

Supervises warehouse receiving, stocking, order picking, supply delivery and supply return operations. Supervises warehouse employees and participates in the receipt, storage and issuance of supplies, materials, and equipment. Supervises and participates in taking cycle counts and physical inventories. Supervises and participates in maintaining records of inventory control activities. Accountable for performing and controlling a combination of manual and automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage and distribution of supplies to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Issues and accounts for supplies to departments.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field (or) 6 years in warehouse enviroment
• Forklift experience
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
• 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing and inventory control

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists Accounts Payable in reconciliation of invoiced not received discrepancies.
• Coordinates shipping, receiving, storage, replenishment, production order fulfillment & inventory control activities. Provides an uninterrupted flow of material to all internal/ external customers.
• Ensures accurate maintenance of data on movement and storage of material with particular focus on adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Confers and corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems with receipts and with shipments as needed.
• Ensures on-time execution of on-site and off-site deliveries from warehouse to end user collection points. Resolves emergent issues for expedited deliveries to the client site.
• Ensures a high level of inventory accuracy through the proper execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Supports FIFO procedures for inventory control and tracking.
• Conduct regular inspections of material and storage space to ensure quality requirements are met. Supervises planning processes and the execution of a cycle count program.
• Establishes and maintains procedures for determining and meeting company and customer receipt and delivery commitments by handling materials and providing labor.
• Monitors and meets all order accuracy requirements/expectations.
• Monitors employee attendance, productivity and other performance markers and provides counseling to employees, as needed.
• Provides ongoing training for new and existing employees on various department tasks, procedures and systems.
• Provides day-to-day supervision, expertise and direction to the team to ensure delivery against plans. Guides and coaches individual team members and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provides input towards warehouse operation strategies, budgets & plans as well as improvement of work management processes. Completes all necessary records & reports in a timely & accurate fashion.
• Supervises the proper operation of material handling equipment and execution of SOPs.
• Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Champions safety awareness and education, reporting of incidents, injuries and work hazards, and investigation of accidents.
