Details Posted: March 23, 2021 Location: Southfield, Michigan Show Map Type: Full Time - Experienced Discipline: Executive GENERAL SUMMARY: Reporting to the VP Talent Management, the Talent Acquisition Director provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to the Talent Acquisition team. This position is responsible for providing the strategic direction for system-wide talent acquisition initiatives to support the growth of the company. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Talent Acquisition – Nursing and Clinical (non-nursing) ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Assist and advise senior management and HR Business Partners on all significant staffing, sourcing, and recruiting initiatives. Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners in delivering specific recruiting campaigns and report on progress on a regular basis. Develop recruiting goals and strategies for the company and hold all members of the leadership team accountable for their respective roles in recruiting and selection. Oversee external advertising, the applicant tracking system, employee referral programs, and management training on effective hiring. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends, labor laws, and legislative initiatives that have short- and long-term implications on the profitability of the business. Oversee the recruiting team and provide support and motivation to the team. Own, manage, and improve recruiting tools such as training, intranet, and online resources. Provide overall direction and management for recruiting strategy, guidelines and procedures concerning staffing best practices, systems, and methodology. Select, appoint, and manage third party vendors; manage supplier relationships; and ensure vendor performance metrics are appropriate and monitored. Develop a Talent Acquisition scorecard and take responsibility for the results of all talent acquisition objectives. Education / Training: A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field. Work Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of recruitment operations experience is preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of leadership/management experience is preferred. Certification, Licensure, Registration: None required.
