The Vice President, Total Rewards role is a newly creation position to advance best in class rewards and recognition programs for MLH. The incumbent will be responsible to: develop, propose, and renew a comprehensive Total Rewards philosophy and long-range strategy in alignment with MLH strategic plan, mission and values, associate perspectives, and competitive concerns. develop innovative compensation, benefits, and wellness strategies to address prevalent issues the present-day marketplace and administers competitive core solutions that are responsive to Mid-South market pressures and reflect national trends in consumer centric rewards design that reflect the emerging workforce demographics. develop and administer core solutions that create the right balance of rewarding agility and near-term business outcomes, and long-term incentives that support a talent philosophy that promote effective talent mobility. develop and administer progressive supplemental solutions that enhance work life harmony, build prosperity and support flexible work models. This outstanding opportunity is based in Memphis, Tennessee. Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of progressive human resources leadership experience gained with large, complex organizations. Knowledge of healthcare compensation and physician compensation preferred. Health experience is required. Experience leading Compensation or Benefits department required. Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred A track record of leadership effectiveness, strong business acumen, and a demonstrated history of achieving results through collaboration, strong influence and communication. Demonstrated success in managing and developing compensation and benefits programs in a large, complex organization. Strong technical knowledge of compensation practices, incentive and benefits plans. Must be able to foster innovative approaches in a complex system, provide strategic thought leadership, exhibit strong influence over change processes, and measure and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives. Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to coordinate, plan, and execute complex projects with a focus on results. Outstanding consultation, coaching and listening skills with the ability to effectively establish trust and credibility. Ability to communicate, coach, teach, and facilitate learning with all levels of Associates and others. Proven ability to analyze data and information to identify problems and opportunities, and develop recommendations, solutions, and interventions that reflect good business judgement and support the organizational values.
