Details Posted: February 6, 2021 Location: Renton, Washington Show Map Salary: Open Discipline: Operations Summary Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group- is seeking a Full Time 1.0 FTE HR Generalist to join our WPMG HQ team in Renton, Washington. GENERAL SUMMARY The HR Generalist is a front line member of the Human Resources team who provides guidance, assistance and support to management, supervisors and administrators. Job duties include consulting with chiefs and leadership concerning individual employees or groups, identifying and resolving employee related matters such as workplace accommodations, PA practice plans, compliance and/or privacy issues and patient satisfaction tracking. Additional responsibilities include system administration of the talent management and LMS systems and oversight of the performance review processes. The HR Generalist may conduct employment interviews, periodic check ins with new hires and selected performance management responsibilities. The HR Generalist partners with the HR team and clinical leadership to support the needs of the medical group and is the back-up to the HR Business Partner as needed. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Accommodations Advise clinical leadership on job related accommodation: * Work with staff and chiefs in interactive process for accommodation * Ongoing case management of updated accommodation plans * Return to work plan management * Grievance and resolution management Privacy Coordinate and investigate privacy violations: * Respond to privacy concerns and educates staff regarding violation * Partnership with the KP/WPMG privacy office Associate Staff Support Associate Program: Conduct 3 month check-ins with Associate staff Inform and partner with line management and upper leadership regarding Associate staff progress towards Shareholder status Partner with the Practice and Leadership Development (PLD) department on the progress of Associates to Shareholder status Partner with the Human Resources and Operations Committee (HROC) on the review and presentation of Associate advancements Compliance/Code of Conduct Facilitate development and deployment of annual compliance training: * Track and monitor staff compliance * Track state and federal changes related to compliance * Develop trainings as needed * Work in concert with KP/WPMG Compliance, KP/WPMG LMS and CBRE to create one cohesive online learning environment Partnership Develop effective working relationships with clinical leadership and clinical operations managers to support business objectives: * Work in partnership to implement department initiatives, policies, practices, and department work plans * Work with other departments to promote chief training, leadership development and change management * Partner with legal counsel as needed * Work in partnership with the recruiting department to manage PA practice plan application and maintenance * Work closely with Senior Employee Relations Specialist to provide performance management support, to include in investigations * Conduct exit interviews and provide trend reports to HROC Miscellaneous * Ad hoc project management of periodic, long or short term assignments * Other duties as assigned * Provide back-up to other team members KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (required) Continuous Improvement * Maintains and fosters skills necessary to perform job functions over time. * Continually looks for ways to improve processes, fosters innovation and learning. * Looks for and implements Lean practices related to current job functions. * Encourages innovation, respectfully listens to and acknowledges ideas of others.
