Job Summary

Possesses hands-on experience in application design, development, integration, and implementation in a healthcare-related setting. Helps to evaluate, design, and develop the ways an application or technical process will need to function based on the proposed architecture. Responsible for new applications as well as revisions to existing applications. Assists with defining product technical requirements and creates technical solutions, ensuring feasibility, functionality, performance, and integration with existing systems/platforms. Assists with a variety of application development concepts, practices, and procedures and continually adopts modern approaches to application development.

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with peers to evaluate and determine feasibility of technical requirements.
  • Analyzes requirements and transforms them into technical solutions.
  • Designs, develops, and reengineers existing solutions into new solutions.
  • Designs and develops brand new engineered solutions.
  • Tests, debugs, and resolves issues.
  • Works with architects and developers throughout development activities.
  • Assist with defining and documenting requirements, capturing non-functional and functional requirements, assisting with estimates and defining technical solutions.
  • Implements technical requirements to meet solution needs.
  • Works with other engineers and architects to prevent and resolve technical issues.
  • Assists with automated process development and deployment to enhance processes.
  • Participates in design discussion with management and project leaders, and presents solutions and highlights benefits and risks.
