UR Medicine Labs is in search of a healthcare leader join our team as a Program Administrator. UR Medicine Labs is the largest medical lab in the Finger Lakes region, with over 900 professionals performing more than 8 million patient tests each year, offering an extensive array of clinical Laboratory and Pathology services. As the strategic leader of UR Medicine Labs, the Program Administrator oversees the operational and financial arms of the department. This position works collaboratively with UR Labs Chair and URMC leadership to set and achieve goals and outcomes that are critical for mission success. Primary responsibilities include: Oversees UR Medicine Labs administrative structure and operations, providing leadership for Quality Assurance, Clinical Trials, Finance, Information Technology, Performance Improvement and Operations areas. Supports the Chair of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and faculty leadership in formulating policies. Builds strong relationships across the University of Rochester Medical Center and regional affiliates. Works collaboratively across the department and URMC to develop strategic plans to expand UR Medicine Labs programs and services. Identifies service needs, objectives and resource requirements. Facilitates development of new programs and services, and participates in the evaluation of the performance of the program. Ensures sound financial management by overseeing operating, revenue and capital budgets. Continuously analyzes staffing, finance, operations, policies and procedures to ensure an efficient, effective and fiscally strong operation. Works with UR Medicine Labs and URMC faculty to develop and implement plans to increase and expand business. Ensures support for faculty research activities.
