We're excited to launch recruitment for the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Optimization . Reporting to our Senior Vice President, Financial Operations, you will lead Revenue Cycle Optimization initiatives, collaborate with Clinical and Operations executives, provide guidance to the Revenue Cycle Financial Reporting and Data Analytics, Performance Improvement and Revenue Cycle Transformational Initiatives teams, and work closely with leadership across the organization to ensure successful implementation/ execution of MSK Revenue Cycle Optimization objectives. You will: Oversight of functions: Revenue Cycle Financial Reporting and Data Analytics Revenue Cycle Performance Improvement Revenue Cycle Transformational Initiatives Establish these teams/functions which will support various areas across MSK Collaborate with Clinical, Operations, Finance and Revenue Cycle areas across MSK for achieving Revenue Cycle objectives/goals. Revenue Cycle functions include Patient Access (admitting, registration, pre-services and case clearance), Revenue Integrity, Revenue Cycle Technical Operations, Development and System Business Office (billing, follow-up, credit and collections, cash management, customer service) Implement and supervise all department-wide staffing policies, procedures, onboarding and talent development plans Collaborate with Talent Acquisition/HR on hiring, training, and both technical and interpersonal skill-building programs Ensure the establishment of ongoing and annual performance goals, standards, measures and assessments of staff performance Actively share knowledge and promote collaboration within and across departments Prepare and monitor costs and budgets, use of resources, and budget variances You have: 10+ years leading teams in Healthcare Finance, Financial Planning, Performance Improvement, Revenue Optimization and/ or Hospital Financial Operations Understanding of Clinical Service lines and Hospital Operations Track record of championing transformational change and driving the vision and decision making on key objectives Executive level influencing and negotiation skills Experience working with Physician Leadership and navigating a large matrixed healthcare environment Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Management or equivalent experience Location: 75% remote flexibility. Expected to be at NYC for important in-person meetings and other collaboration needs.
