The Division of Health Informatics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center manages clinician and patient-facing health information technology, including the institutional electronic health record, ancillary clinical systems, and tools that enable decision support, health information exchange, knowledge management, and patient engagement. Beyond working with the technology itself, we seek to understand the people who use it and the processes affected by its implementation. We empower our clinicians and patients with tools that support the best outcomes, and we support our researchers in their efforts to forge new territory in precision oncology. We evaluate our interventions to prove that the work we are doing is impactful, and we weigh costs and benefits to measure value and prioritize future initiatives. Role Overview: This is one of the two Business Analyst positions whereyou will support the product management of clinical systems used by the department of Health Informatics, primarily focusing, but not limited to, the domains of patient engagement, consumer health & Patient Generated Health Data (PGHD). This presently includes product management related to our patient-reported outcomes tool (MSK Engage), patient portal application (MyMSK), and work with consumer devices and wearables. You Will: Prioritize product requirements, defining product roadmaps and vision, and leading efforts to identify user needs and drive improvements to user experience; Work closely with engineering, designers and other institutional partners to execute development and builds against the product roadmaps; Work extensively with clinical, informatics, IT, strategy and operations leadership on issues related to the assigned product portfolio. Support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, improvements, interfaces and integration with existing and new systems, including supporting go-live activities in clinical settings. Work directly with clinical/business users of the products in the team portfolio, conducting field observations and informational sessions to educate around these systems capabilities. Build and maintain documentation for workflow, operating procedures, quality control and system administration; Support on-site SEO initiatives via content updates Support aspects of data flows to ensure an efficient customer experience Assist various testing and optimization efforts and special initiatives by performing in-depth and ad-hoc analysis of information from multiple data sources. Responsible for managing data process and strategy with a solid understanding of creating, organizing and activating data. You Are: An effective communicator, capable of engaging with different audiences, especially clinicians, and executing communications based on that understanding Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions An individual with strong analytical aptitude, capable of understanding data and using data to tell a story Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward Able to work optimally in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information Adept at building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals Adept at learning quickly, applying insights from past efforts to new situations solid grasp of website analytics tools and some familiarity with basic web development and design concepts Comfortable with end-to-end execution; supervise critical metrics, recognize problems and find solutions in a fast-paced environment You have: 4-7 years operations, patient/provider user experience, any telemedicine or data exposure a plus SQL experience highly preferred Experience with Healthcare Systems highly desired Knowledge of patient-facing technology and consumer health products would be a huge bonus Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
