The position of Executive Director of Peri-operative Services isresponsible to plan, manage and evaluate patient care services within theDivision of Nursing, ensuring that all resources are cost effectively directedto provide quality patient care.  Inaddition, this position is responsible to provide leadership to the managementand clinical teams that provide Peri-operative Services across the continuum.

PrincipalDuties and Responsibilities:

The Executive Director of Peri-operative Services is a master'sprepared Registered Nurse who is responsible to support the vision and goals ofthe Division of Nursing.  In addition,the Executive Director is responsible for the management of daily operations,management of human resources, physician relations, practice development,quality improvement, strategic planning and fiscal oversight for the continuumof care in Peri-operative Services.  Amultidisciplinary and patient/family centered approach is utilized to integratethe functional operations within the services.
