Details Posted: January 9, 2021 Location: Richmond, Virginia Show Map Type: Full Time - Experienced Discipline: Operations Required Education: Masters Provides leadership, facilitation, coordination and education for performance improvement activities in assigned groups within Virginia Children’s Care Network, a wholly-owned subsidiary of VCU Health System (VCUHS). Manages quality program development and execution, Quality Improvement Committee, quality dashboards/scorecards, and routine reports to the Virginia Children’s Care Network Board of Managers. Identifies performance improvement opportunities, works with leaders and clinically integrated network (CIN) participants to prioritize the opportunities, initiates teams/projects, and directs teams in monitoring data to evaluate success of interventions. Uses the science of improvement, including statistical tools and methods Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the healthcare environment. Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in quality improvement/ quality management, with specific experience that includes: Experience applying the science of improvement/performance improvement methods/tools; Managing people, teams, and or/projects Previous experience using a personal computer and software applications to include the Internet, e-mail, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and graphics Expert level knowledge of NCQA, HEDIS, Medicaid and Medicare Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Current license in the Commonwealth of Virginia (e.g. Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Dietitian or similar) if candidate holds a professional license Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality preferred Certified Project Manager preferred.
