Job Description

The Web Production Designer is responsible for the project management, build and delivery of digital campaigns consisting of websites, microsites, emails and ad banners, while professionally managing the client relationship on a production execution level. This position will lead and/or assist with design and maintenance of system websites and sub-sites, using consistent web design and web development standards.

The ideal Web Production Designer candidate has experience:

• Developing, designing and maintaining web applications/pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ActionScript.
• Using Content Management Systems (CMS) for page creation, editing and maintenance
• Creating and managing e-newsletters, emails, Flash banner ads and other digital marketing materials.
• Working alongside the digital team to create user-friendly and visually appealing web-based collateral.
• Optimizing content according to SEO and accessibility standards.
• Testing functionality of websites in various browsers for quality assurance including mobile and tablets.
• Providing technical, design and logistical advice during project development stages.
• Researching new technologies and keep informed on new concepts that could benefit the system at large.
• Presenting to senior-level teams and assisting the marketing team with website goals and needs across departments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- HTML/XHTML

- CMS (SharePoint a must; Kentico, Dot Net Nuke,  etc.)

- JavaScript/jQuery, ActionScript

- Image Editing Tools (Photoshop, Fireworks, etc.)

- Adobe CS5 and newer

- Cross-Browser Compatibility/Cross-Platform Development

- Digital advertising and marketing automation tools experience preferred

- Presentation skills to senior leaders
