Job Summary:

The Technical Consultant solves advanced complex technical problems. The Technical Consultant develops and provides solutions and procedures for best practice implementations. The role sets standards, installations guidelines, and maintenance and verification/auditing documentation of systems solutions.

The Technical Consultant job duties include, but are not limited to:

Researches technological solutions and methods of application delivery to satisfy business requirements.

Creates and maintains project plans for installation and upgrades of applications within an enterprise project management system. 

Assists with project management, including project planning, gathering quotes and planning installations.

Provides ongoing technical support to customers, developing procedures as needed.

Coordinates product installations, upgrades and ongoing maintenance needs for smooth operation of applications.  Tests and implements new systems into user departments. 

Develops technical feasibility and/or alternatives to system problems. 

Researches technological solutions and methods of application deliver to satisfy business requirements.

The ideal candidate for the Technical Consultant role will be able to analyze and test vendor software, report issues to vendor and provide recommendations for resolution of issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Associates or Equivalent Experience 

- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 5 years experience required
