Revenue Cycle Educator - AdventHealth - Maitland

Work Hours/Shift: Full Time Days Monday-Friday
Under general supervision, Educator will provide high quality training services on any/all workforce development, strategic initiatives implementation, and revenue cycle applications and technologies utilized by AdventHealth. Responsible for research and development of training materials, creation of Computer Based Learning (CBL) modules, facilitate learning events - both in the classroom and virtually - as well as conduct preparatory and post-session processes. Leads training initiatives to produce educational deliverables and serve as a resource for all learning opportunities. Customizes learning programs, courses, presentations, and guides to align with needs of the learner. Conducts training while utilizing a variety of delivery methods and techniques. Instructs new hire orientation, new hire department-specific training, as well as continuing education and soft skill development courses on a weekly basis. After completion of each course, Educator will provide completion outcomes to Leadership. Educator actively collaborates with department Leadership, participates in outstanding customer service, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to AdventHealth Corporate Compliance standards, as well as rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
What You Will Need:
Associate degree in business, healthcare or related field OR Minimum of 2 years Revenue Cycle experience (i.e. Pre-Access/Patient Access/Patient Financial Services Department or related area)
Train the Trainer Certification (preferred)
You Will Be Responsible For:
Demonstrates through behavior AdventHealth's core Values of Keep Me Safe, Love Me, Make it Easy, and Own It.
Researches and develops instructional materials including training manuals, facilitation guides, teaching aids, assessments, training activities, role-play scenarios, and performance evaluation tools.
Proposes, designs, and implements training programs and materials for current Revenue Cycle employees.
Delivers Revenue Cycle orientation and department-specific training for new hires while employing a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training program as well as performing supervisory functions to facilitate efficient operations of departments.
Continually evaluates and revises existing training materials and programs based on audit results, questionnaires, and feedback from Leadership and Subject Matter Experts.
Tracks and maintains assessment records of training programs and prepares training status reports and evaluation tools for Revenue Cycle Leadership and employees.
Creates and produces AdventHealth Learning Network (ALN) training materials, such as CBLs, for continuous education and training of department reps.
Produces professional presentations and training materials using MS Word, PowerPoint, and other desktop publishing software in alignment with AdventHealth guidelines.
