The Chief Financial Officer will be an integral member of the MCHD executive leadership team and will effectively lead the finance division for the system. Driving financial excellence and performance measures for the hospital, he/she will partner with the CEO and senior colleagues on strategic financing and other matters. He/she will direct income statement, balance sheets, reports to stakeholders, tax returns and reports for government regulatory agencies. The CFO will foster an atmosphere supporting high performance and personal accountability and will serve as a contributing, strategic and operational leader, further advancing the organization’s strategic goal of elevating its culture while also consistently living the values of MCHD.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in business administration, finance/accounting, economics or related discipline. MBA, MHA or other relevant master’s degree is highly desired, and CPA designation preferred. An advanced ability to utilize financial and accounting computer programs and systems. He/She will have five or more years of health care experience in a Chief Financial Officer role, controller, or financial management position with increasing responsibilities. Extensive experience with collections and contractual management. Must have physician practice experience and revenue cycle analysis and improvement experience. Knowledge of MEDITECH electronic health record system is preferred.
