Augusta Health is seeking aBenefits Analyst to join our growing Human Resources Team. The position manages the administration of all benefit plans, employee rates, changes and responsible for assisting with overseeing compliance with all government regulations related to benefit plans. The incumbent is responsible for complying with Affordable Care Act (ACA) regulations and tracking hours for PT and PRN positions. The position manages monthly audits for paying invoices and self-billing and assists with enrollment questions and escalated issues. Responsible for providing accurate and timely benefit-related materials for life events and new hires. The position oversees compliance with all Government reporting requirements for benefits (COBRA, FLSA, DOL, EEOC) and works on Special Projects. Works with Sr HRIS Analyst for system implementation projects related to benefits, open enrollment, enhancements, etc. Position partners with Payroll and Accounting teams, HR Coordinators and HR Team, as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Work experience in benefits of 10+ years at a high level may be considered.
3-5 years Benefits experience working with leaves preferred.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral, as well as, proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency a must.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws and governmental regulations.
