The Strategic Sourcing Manager for Travel and Hospitality services is responsible for developing and managing the relationship and contract performance of travel, hospitality, and other related services. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing programs focused on reducing costs, strategic sourcing initiatives for car, hotel, and other hospitality related vendor initiatives, maintaining acceptable customer satisfaction, traveler productivity and safety, supporting executive office initiatives and monitoring policies for effectiveness and compliance.
Identify and implement key cost savings initiatives and process improvements that directly impact the cost savings to all travelers and the operational support costs of the company. Development of key business metrics to accurately measure and report on travel program and other supplier performance. Report on metrics and measure vendor effectiveness against those metrics.
Support the needs of corporate relocation, executive search and the physician relocation initiative in addition to all hospital and headquarter based departments travel needs.
Minimum 5 years of strategic sourcing management and contract management in travel related field with responsibility for an internal or external client base of a corporate account with greater than $10M annual T&E spend or equivalent experience in related industry and environment.
Extensive contract and service level negotiation; ensuring successful implementation of effective travel management principles and techniques on a national basis.
Strong vendor management background ï¿½ ability to develop strong partner relationships with multiple vendors in a competing space.
History of successful implementation of corporate-wide travel programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to influence, negotiate and communicate at all levels of the organization.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.Ability to utilize systems and available data to develop metrics, reporting, retrospective analytics and prospective modeling/planning
