The SVPCPO is a central member of the Dana-Farber leadership team, the individual who will spearhead organizational efforts in HR, talent management and workforce planning and design. It is through this role that Dana-Farber will recruit, engage, develop and retain a best-in-class team of executives and professional staff who are skilled, expert, diverse and nimble in today's rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
This is an exciting, opportune time to join Dana-Farber leadership. The organization's senior executive team is evolving under the direction of president and CEO Laurie H. Glimcher, M.D., a noted researcher and professor of microbiology and immunobiology. Since taking office as CEO in 2016, Dr. Glimcher has successfully helped to recruit numerous high-profile leaders, including Jim Terwilliger, the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, to whom the SVPCPO will report. The SVPCPO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, COO and leadership team to position the Institute's workforce to meet its future needs with the understanding that it is outstanding people, more than anything, who will allow Dana-Farber to fulfill its mission and strategies.
