The primary role of the Applications Analyst II will be to provide consulting support for individual Barnabas Health hospital projects.
Participate in development and support of automation initiatives.
Communicate effectively with third party vendors to enhance new installs and support current systems.
Support Revenue Cycle Applications. Limited but not exclusive to the following applications: 3M HDM, 3M SoftMed, Affinity, STAR, SMS, Optimum Cerner, Epic
Provide on-call support for RWJBarnabas Health Affiliates.
Develop and provide reports.
Responsible for the testing and documentation of system components for multiple financial/clinical applications.
Implement federal and state regulatory changes.
Ensure ongoing compliance to all policies and procedures defined by the System and local facility/affiliate.
May be required to lift pc s or printers or other small office equipment.
Bachelor s degree required. A certification or equivalent may be substituted for a BA degree.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in health care or technology related field is required.
Knowledge of clinical or financial computer systems is required.
