JOB TITLE: Operations Manager (10) - Cancer Service Line

Manages nursing, technical, clerical personnel, and volunteers in the successful completion of daily operational activities. Works closely with physician leadership to facilitate efficient and high quality daily clinical operations. Leads teams of assigned outpatient units with responsibility for all operational functions of the teams. Responsible for developing and initiating improvements in the organization and delivery of high quality, cost effective Hematology/Medical Oncology/Radiation Oncology patient care services. Responsible for overall quality of assigned outpatient units and outreach sites. Performs and upholds policies and procedures; meets the minimum qualifications to provide nursing care for adult patients in the clinical areas; responsible for all regulatory requirements of assigned areas. Works under the supervision of the AVP of Medical Oncology but also works collaboratively and effectively with cancer service line medical leadership to resolve issues and concerns. Performs supervision of staff to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction at all provider sites. Represents the cancer service line at operations, system-wide operations meetings, and nursing related management meetings.

Demonstrates a positive attitude, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, effective communication and team-building skills.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
Minimum five years business, supervisory and/or management experience in a healthcare setting required. Physician relations experience required.
