The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of Human Resources functions under the direction of the Human Resource Director. Knowledgeable of applicable laws, regulations and standards related to the human resources functions is necessary within this role. This role is seeking candidates who exhibit a sense of ownership by taking pride in what they do and by taking responsible for outcomes, and recognizing work as a reflection of self. Within this role the Human Resource Generalist must reflect a commitment to the highest quality of care for the customer and model the core values of the hospital and display a positive image of the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for acting with integrity at all times when representing the facility and adheres to the Standards of Conduct as a positive messenger or ambassador for the facility. The Human Resource Generalist must be committed to listening attentively to customers/staff to fully understand their needs. In this role the HR Generalist must be able to communicate well with staff/co-workers when necessary both verbally and nonverbally. And to delivers messages to customers with courtesy, clarity and care.
